While we’ve been apart, the Buena Vista team has been diligently preparing to make your return as safe and enjoyable as possible. While things won’t be exactly as they were, we have prepared new and exciting ways for you to enjoy our wine and winery.
New Hours
10:00 am to 5:00 pm Daily
(Last seating is at 4:00 pm.)
Reservation are required with a maximum of six guests per group. At this time only outdoor seating is available and no outside food is allowed at the winery.

Below is more information about the safety precautions we are taking at the winery to insure the safety of our guests and staff.
Outdoor Seating:
Seating is by reservation only, with tables separated by greater than 6’ of distance between tables, with 6 people from the same household maximum. Staff person will be posted at the entry to the property checking people in. Once identified, the party will be asked to wait at a safe distance while the staff set up the prepackaged food and flight and place it on the designated table. The guests will then be notified by text or verbally and then directed to their table. Each table will be fully sanitized between seating.
Food Service:
– Both food and utensils will be pre-wrapped for guests to open and serve themselves.
– No outside food is allowed at the winery at this time.
Customer Communication and Directional Signage
-‘‘Keep Your Social Distance’ Signage at Winery Parking Lot and at entrance to the property with 6 feet distance indication.
-‘Please Wear a Mask’ signage at walkway entrance to winery, greet station at Tasting Room and in several locations around the property.
-‘Sonoma Valley Safe’ and ‘Social Distancing’ signs posted in customer view.
Physical Distancing Guidelines:
-Only outdoor seating will be available with social distancing measures in place.
-No more than three guests in the tasting room at any one time.
-Curbside pickup and delivery options are available and prioritized for the guests to use.
-Table reservations are taken and controlled. Number of guests at a table is limited to six.
-Parties are shown to their table one party at a time.
-Tasting Room bathrooms will be monitored by employees to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed. Bathrooms will be cleaned hourly.
-Tape markings/directional floor signage in place to maintain safe social distancing.
-Physical distancing rules posted for guests and employees.
-Face covering are required to be worn by employees at all times and by guests at all times except when they are sitting at their table enjoying their food and wine.
-Visible rules in place for guests and employees including but not limited to:
-Use of hand sanitizer.
-Maintaining physical distance from guests and other employees.
-Avoid unnecessary touching of surfaces.
Cleaning and Disinfecting Protocols:
-Regular and routine cleaning in high traffic areas in place and practiced at minimum every hour including but not limited to:
-Door handles
-Phones
-POS
-Counter Surfaces
-Door Knobs, door surfaces and pickup counters
-Restrooms
-Tables after each use
-Hand Sanitizer available to guests and employees throughout work location
-Disinfecting wipes available throughout work location
-Use of products approved for use against COVID-19 by the EPA
-Air filters changed with increased regularity
-Doors remain open at all times
-Only disposable, take away utensils (individually wrapped) are available for guest
We are thrilled to once again host guests for outdoor wine tastings. Guests may make a reservation to taste Thursday through Monday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
We are also open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm for curbside pick-up and retail sales by appointment and walk-in retail sales are available Thursday through Monday.
