Below is a list of available wine experiences offered at our historic winery in Sonoma. Our last seating time each day is at 4:00 pm for the Current Release Standing Bar Tasting and 3:30 pm for all other tastings.

Current Release Seated Tasting
Enjoy a seated tasting of four Buena Vista wines. Guests can enjoy our Current Release Tasting or experience our ultra-premium Private Reserve Tasting flight. Upon availability, guests may also enjoy this tasting in the Champagne Cellars or outdoors (weather permitting).

Current Release Bar Tasting (Standing)
The Press House, when completed in 1862, was the first gravity-flow winery in California. Today, it is a dramatic tasting room steeped in wine lore. Guests can enjoy our Current Release Tasting or experience our ultra-premium Private Reserve Tasting flight inside at the historic Press House Bar.

The Aristocratic Tasting
Discover the ultimate experience that Buena Vista offers with this exclusive tour and seated tasting that is fit for Aristocrats and friends. By the guidance of only our most experienced wine hosts, you will discover how our future is our past after learning our Founder’s history and tasting through both library and our most prestigious wines. You will enjoy your regal tasting in the seclusion of the most significant wine cave in California’s history for an unforgettable experience.
$250 per person (4-person minimum group size); cheese and charcuterie is included with this experience. Wine club members will receive their 20% savings on the cost of the tasting.
Grand Reserve Tasting
Discover the best that Buena Vista has to offer with this private seated indoor tasting experience featuring exclusive Buena Vista library and ultra-premium imported wines – carefully selected for your enjoyment. You will enjoy your tasting in the quiet seclusion of one of our historic caves or other location for a truly unique experience. Up to eight guests per tasting. Small bites and cheese plates are available for purchase to complete your food and wine pairing. This is a 90 minutes experience.

Barrel Tasting and Winery Tour
Explore the delights of our historic winery. Your tour will begin with a stroll through our beautiful grounds, followed by a journey through our renovated Champagne Cellar. We will take you from 1857 to the present day while you enjoy a flight of Buena Vista current release wines. Next, you will step into the caves of Buena Vista to sample wine thieved directly from a barrel. This is a 90 minutes experience.

Bubble Lounge Sparkling Wine Flight
