Story

Named for the wife of the Count’s son, Attila, and the daughter of General Mariano Vallejo, Natalia’s selection Chardonnay is harvested from the Green Valley region of the Russian River Valley, where the warm summer days and cool nights of the region allowed the select blocks to reach optimum ripeness and flavor maturity. The grapes for our 2022 Chardonnay were harvested in the early morning to retain freshness. The wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation and was aged in 100% French oak, 30% new, for 18 months before bottling.
