Brilliant red in color, this medium-bodied Cabernet Franc is refreshingly approachable. Ripe, red fruit with a touch of chocolate, violet, and blueberry express themselves on the nose while it’s luscious and rich flavors are layered with cassis and a touch of violet leading to a long and memorable finish.

Winemaker’s Notes
2019 was a near picture-perfect growing season that began in late February followed by a mild Spring yielding uniform grape clusters. Temperatures remained moderate to cool throughout the season with 2019 being considered one of the coolest vintages of the past decade. The cooler temperatures allowed for a longer hangtime resulting in an even and temperate harvest.
The grapes for this Cabernet Franc, St. Helena were hand harvested on October 11 before being fermented in open top fermenters and aged in 35% new French oak barrels for 20 months before being bottled unfiltered.
