Glowing in a radiant ruby-red hue, this remarkable Zinfandel captivates with alluring aromas of juicy black cherry, elegant floral notes, and a faint whisper of crushed pepper. The palate is infused with the depth of ripe red plum and succulent blackberry, seamlessly accented by a hint of citrus zest and a trace of smoky tobacco. Velvety tannins, intricately woven with layers of exotic spices, craft a symphony of flavors, all invigorated by a bright, refreshing acidity, culminating in a beautifully crisp and mesmerizing finish.

Story

Named for Count Haraszthy’s son who managed Buena Vista Winery with his father, Attila’s Selection Zinfandel was sourced from vineyards in the warmer region of Sonoma Valley as well as in the Russian River where the days are warm and the nights are cool, the perfect growing conditions for Zinfandel – a varietal The Count helped make prominent in America. This big, bold wine was fermented in open-top fermenters with hand punch downs before being aged for 18 months in French oak, 14% new oak.
