Story

Named for Count Haraszthy’s third son, who proudly championed his father’s role in bringing the beloved Zinfandel grape to Sonoma, this wine is sourced from a historic vineyard northeast of Sonoma. Planted in the early 1880s, the site is defined by its red volcanic soils, scattered boulders, and resilient old vines that lend both character and concentration to the fruit. Harvested on September 15, 2023, the wine was aged for 15 months in 23% new French oak, allowing the vineyard’s distinctive personality to shine through.
