Named for Count Haraszthy’s grandfather, who planted the seed of exploration in his son and grandson, our Antal’s Selection Zinfandel is harvested from the Baldacchi Vineyard. This vineyard touts 100-year-old vines in the Russian River Valley, where the days are warm and the nights are cool, the perfect growing conditions for Zinfandel – a varietal the Count helped make prominent in America. This big, bold wine was fermented in open-top fermenters with hand punch downs before being aged for 18 months in French oak, 19% new oak.
