Story
Founded in 1857, Buena Vista is California’s first premium winery. Chateau Buena Vista honors the indelible presence of Buena Vista Winery as an icon of California Winemaking and Innovation. This Chateau Buena Vista Riesling is harvested from the famed St. Helena appellation.
Winemaker’s Notes
The 2022 harvest experienced heat and rain events but August provided warm days and cool nights which were perfect for ripening. The Chateau Buena Vista Riesling was harvested on August 19.
