Vinicultural Society

The Count's Selection

White Wine / 2024

Our 2024 White Blend opens with aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, and white peach, accented by notes of honeysuckle, chamomile, and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is rich yet balanced, with a rounded, supple texture and a subtle honeyed depth, lifted by fresh acidity. Hints of almond and wet stone emerge alongside delicate floral undertones, leading to a plush, layered wine with a long, elegant finish

Story

The Buena Vista Vinicultural Society was formed in 1863 by the winery’s founder, Count Agoston Haraszthy, to further improve its winemaking prowess and expand its vineyards. The Vinicultural Society has been restored as a collection of unique small-production wines that honor the winery’s pioneering spirit and contribution to California winemaking. The collection of wines explores clonal selections, varietals and the incredible terroir of Northern California.
