Natalia's Selection

Chardonnay / 2024

The 2024 Natalia’s Selection Chardonnay lifts from the glass with an aromatic bouquet of fresh citrus blossom, ripe pear, and baked apple, layered with hints of vanilla and subtle baking spice. Refined and expressive on the palate, it offers vibrant acidity balanced by a rounded texture. The wine unfolds into notes of lemon curd, golden apple, and a touch of toasted almond, culminating in a long, polished finish with elegant depth and poise.

Story

Named for the wife of the Count’s son Attila and the daughter of General Mariano Vallejo, Natalia’s selection Chardonnay is harvested from the Green Valley region of the Russian River Valley, where the warm summer days and cool nights of the region allowed the select blocks to reach optimum ripeness and flavor maturity. The grapes for our 2023 Chardonnay were harvested in the early morning to retain freshness. The wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation and was aged in 100% French oak, 32% new, for 18 months prior to bottling on April 1, 2025.
