Pinot Noir / 2024
This Pinot Noir reflects the region ’ s cool coastal influence and diverse vineyard sources, offering expressive aromatics and layered complexity. Notes of ripe cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry are complemented by hints of rose petal, baking spice, and forest floor. The palate is silky and vibrant, with refined tannins, bright acidity, and subtle nuances of black tea and toasted oak leading to a balanced, lingering finish. The North Coast’ s mix of coastal freshness and warm inland ripening helps create Pinot Noir with both elegance and depth.

Named for the Count's eldest son, who fought in the Civil War, Geza's Selection Pinot Noir is harvested from two vineyards in the Petaluma Gap that complement each other beautifully. Sloping hills, rocky clay loam soils, and low-vigor vines help keep yields low while the myriad of clones ensure greater complexity in the wines. Our Geza’s Selection Pinot Noir was fermented in small, open-top fermenters with hand punchdowns before being aged for 14 months in 41% new French oak.
